Seriously this is the most ridiculously yummy recipe I’ve made in a while.
It has 3 major ingredients and THAT’S IT, it is just simple to make and everyone in my house loved this (my 5 year old even did that “roll his eyes in yumminess” look and I knew I had done good.)
So I’ll just get right to it.
Amazing 3 Ingredient Crockpot Pork
Ingredients:
You will need the following:
- A Boston Butt, any size really, I used a medium sized one
- 1 or 2 onions
- 1 12 oz. can 98% Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup
Directions:
Now, I did season the pork with salt and pepper before I put that in the crockpot if that counts as extra ingredients but this is not mandatory, just feel free to do that too if you wish. Slice the onions real thin and place them on the bottom of the crockpot. Place the pork on top of the bed of onions, then pour in the can of cream of chicken soup.
Cook on low 6-8 hours.
What comes out is spectacular.
I served it alongside cut & boiled red potatoes and steamed green beans and it was delicious!
Also, you can, if you want, make a gravy by mixing 2 tablespoons of flour with just enough water to make it a little creamer than a paste-like consistency and pouring it into the crockpot and mixing it. It will thicken the sauce on its own, just stir.
Or you can leave it as is, either way it’s delicious. The meat falls right apart!
