Wiping down sweaty machines is a quick and easy way to rid a gym of germs and bacteria.
Instructions / Things You'll Need:
- Paper towel or cloth
- Cleaning solution (three-parts water to one-part detergent)
Step 1Spray the cleaning solution onto a paper towel before a workout. The person before you may not have cleaned the machine. Don't spray the solution directly onto the machine.- Step 2Wipe the handles, screen and anyplace else your hands will touch during your workout. Remove all traces of sweat.
- Step 3Discard the paper towel, or place the used gym towel in the proper receptacle.
- Step 4Wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer.
- Step 5Repeat the process after you've completed your workout.
