Sometime less is more, in life as well as working out. Keep in mind that you can often reap the same benefits of a workout by compacting it into a shorter workout time. This can save you a lot of time, and time is money! Rest and recovery is also a very important and often overlooked component of long-term healthy, muscle building, and fat loss. Working out less often or for shorter periods of time may be beneficial from time to time to prevent physical, mental, and emotional burnout. Taking several days off, even up to a couple of weeks, may be best in the long run for your fitness goals. Just make sure that after you take that time off, you come back hungry and ready to work hard!
