Shoulder Health and Posture

Posture is crucial when promoting optimal shoulder health. Most people tend to have protracted (rounded forward) shoulders due to so much driving, computer use, paperwork, and just general slouching. When this occurs repetitively, the pectoral muscles tend to get much tighter which can cause extra forces pulling on the shoulder joint. By doing upper back exercises, rotator cuff exercise, stretches, and posture correction you can help to reverse this problem and restore balance to your shoulder joint and upper body in general.
