How about a new recipe to spice up this dreary Wednesday? I’m so tired and my brain is fried, so I figured, instead of two night’s in a row of no writing, I’d at least give you a couple good recipes. I can’t leave my loyal readers hanging now can I?
Sam’s Super Simple Sweet and Salty Trail Mix
Makes approximately 16 cups (Don’t be alarmed, it goes fast)

- 3 apples – peeled, diced, and dehydrated. I used two honey crisp and one granny smith.
- 1 cup shelled walnuts
- 1/2 cup shelled pecans
- 2 cups roasted, salted sunflower kernels
- 1 1/4 cups dried cranberries
- 1 1/4 cups raisins
- 3 cups pretzel sticks
Combine all ingredients, except for the pretzels, mix well. Gently mix in pretzel sticks. Dig in!
