Frugal Recipe: Crockpot Balsamic Pork w/ Onions

Contributed By Christie O, Author of Average Moms Wear Capes

This has quickly become one of my very favorite things in the world. Adapted and inspired from a recipe I saw on Pinterest of course, except that the original recipe was beef and this one’s pork, and well I pretty much changed the whole thing. (I’m sure that version is still delicious though!)

This is simple in the crockpot and requires just a little sauce-making at the end with all of the magical goodness from what hath transpired all day in the crockpot.
It’s one of the recipes that goes great with a baked potato to help lop up all the gravy and perhaps a piece of bread with butter too. I chose a lean cut of no preservatives/additives pork so the meat is lean and you can scale back on your sauce usage if you’re worried about calories.
Feel free to print, pin, and/or save it! We do this one once a week now, it’s very inexpensive per person and feeds you for at least two days…
Enjoy!
