5 Weight Loss Shortcuts That Really Work

Losing weight and getting in shape is a long process that takes a lot of hard work and motivation. There is no easy way of doing it and it’s always going to take a lot of dedication. However, there is still ways that you can speed the process along. It is worth remembering that, while you can speed up the process of losing weight, the key is keeping it off and, unfortunately, there is no easy way to do that. Still, you can use these great shortcuts to get the weight off in the first place and focus on maintaining your new, healthier weight.

HCG Injections

There are a lot of weight loss techniques out there that claim they are medically safe and effective. A lot of them aren’t and they won’t do anything for you but one that actually works is HCG injections. HCG is a hormone often found in pregnant women but it has some great weight loss properties as well. You can purchase HCG for weight loss online and administer the injections yourself. In order for it to work properly, you have to combine it with a strict diet that limits you to no more than 500 calories a day. You follow this program for around 8 weeks and you should see some significant weight loss. However, it is not a long-term solution so you should use it to drop the weight and then monitor your diet and get plenty of exercise to maintain your new weight.

Cut Out Alcohol

You might not like the idea but it is one of the easiest ways to drop a lot of weight in a short period of time. So many people adopt a great, healthy diet and exercise regime but still struggle to lose weight because they are still drinking alcohol. It has such a high amount of calories that cutting it out is often enough to lose weight on its own without changing the rest of your diet or exercise levels. If you are really serious about losing a lot of weight quickly, this is one of the best ways to do it. Once you have dropped that weight, change your diet and start exercising regularly and, most importantly, cut down the amount that you’re drinking.

Stop Eating Late

The time of day has a big effect on how many calories your body absorbs when you eat food. If you are eating late at night, you will put on a lot more weight than you would if you were just eating earlier. If you tend to eat dinner later on, try having it earlier and cut out all those late night snacks. As a general rule, 9 o’clock should be the cut off and you shouldn’t be eating anything after that. If you can, try to cut yourself a bit earlier than that and you should start to see a difference.

Drink More Water

You are probably fed up of people going on about how important it is to drink enough water. It has got so many health benefits but people often don’t realize that it can help you to lose weight as well. Our bodies are not very good at differentiating between hunger and thirst so when you feel hungry, you might just need to drink a glass of water. The problem is, most of us don’t realize this so we feel hungry and we grab a snack that we don’t really need and end up putting on weight. The easiest way around this is to have a glass of water when you get hungry between mealtimes. Most of the time, you will find that the hunger goes away and you won’t end up eating excess food.

Sleep Properly

Getting enough sleep is another one of those pieces of advice that you’re fed up of hearing but, again, it can help you to lose weight. Sleep has a big effect on the hormones that affect hunger. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, you are way more likely to feel hungry all the time and end up overeating. Getting your 8 hours of sleep (roughly) will make you far less likely to overeat and it will bring you a whole load of other benefits as well.

These are all good shortcuts that will help you shed excess weight a lot faster than just dieting and exercise alone. However, it is important to remember that you need a good diet alongside these things and they won’t help you to keep that weight off so you are still going to have to work hard at it.
