Amazing Avocado Toast Vegan Recipe

Avocado toast is all the rage these days because avocados are true super-foods full of heart healthy fats and fiber. The healthy homemade whole wheat bread also adds some extra nutrition versus your average store brand bread. This simple and spicy vegan recipe is a delicious way to snack or substitute in for a meal if needed. 


- 1 ripe avocado 
- 2 slices homemade whole wheat bread 
- Lemon Juice 
- Garlic Salt 
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes


Remove the avocado flesh from the shell and mash it together with the lemon juice. Season the avocado with garlic salt and crushed red pepper flakes as you like. Once you toast the homemade whole wheat bread, slather it with the avocado mixture. Serve with some tea, coffee or juice. Enjoy the fun frugal feast!
