Search engine optimization (SEO) is more essential these days than ever before, especially for frugal businesses. Without targeted and relevant web traffic, your website and blog will be leaving money on the table.

The alternatives to getting a steady stream of organic traffic aren't pleasant, including expensive pay-per-click (PPC) advertising or expensive and outdated traditional advertising mediums like TV, radio, and print. And let's face it, billboards and flyers in 2025 aren't going to boost your web traffic much.

Google Rocks The Boat With Link Spam And Helpful Content Updates

There is almost never a sigh of relief with Google pirating away your organic search traffic, link juice, and page rank each month. At least never in the world of online businesses and SEO. That is something we all have in common. We are forever chased by the world trying to bring us to an end, just as it feels like Google and its updates are forever chasing you. The pain is shared. It is not even been a month since we starting picking up the pieces after the cyclone that was Core Update and we have a Link Spam Update chasing us into madness. That makes it four updates in less than two months. Now everyone is feeling the pain from the Google Helpful Content Update, the largest one in nearly a decade. What a time to be alive in the world of SEO!

If you feel the ship of your dreams is fighting the unnamed demons of the Bermuda Triangle, trying to evade capture and reach the sunny shores then you are at the right place. Together, our SEO captains will do everything in their power to bring you back from the jaws of imminent death via Google algorithm update or manual action spam penalty. The update will take about two weeks to complete and the message from the global conglomerate seems pretty clear: use it, don’t abuse it. So, if you are noticing a sudden drop in rankings it might well because of the update. While it doesn’t necessarily penalize your website, it might simply refuse to count some links that it considers spammy.

Crucial Keyword Research

We can help by first doing a comprehensive Keyword and Research Analysis along with On-page optimization. And we can also help you with Bad Links Removal if needed, which should help weed out all the spammy or broken links that may be causing the rankings drop. Second, we write top-quality and original content because we sincerely believe that is the foundation for building good quality of backlinks. Last, we send a set of powerful social media signals across multiple platforms to help spread the word about your brand and website far and wide. But not the least, you have our Ongoing Customer Support without fail throughout the campaigns.

Not all treasure is silver or gold, mate. Some is in the form of higher rankings and authority and consistent targeted traffic. All you need to do is just prioritize. And if you haven’t the time for it then well, that’s what we are here for. Just provide us with what you consider your most important keywords (we can help with that too) and your URL and we will take it forward from there. It is a tricky business this, building a set of linkable assets for your online business in order to rank it better and get higher traffic. Stray but a little and it will all come crashing down, especially after Google’s Link Spam Update and subsequent core updates. You have been battening down the hatches for far too long, now is the time to set sail. Ahoy SEO pros!

When you run an online business, it is quite common to lose your path every now and then. SEO results may dwindle, your focus may take a hit for the worse, new players might challenge and even surpass you right before your eyes. But just because someone stumbles and loses their path doesn’t necessarily mean they are lost forever. If anything, we believe SEO is as much a game of perseverance as it is of resurrections. What is lost might be yours once again, if only you don’t lose hope. Like a phoenix rises from the ashes, your rankings and traffic might rise too, and your business shall fly to heights you’ve not seen before. And to ensure that becomes a possibility, we will do everything in our power. Frugal Finance believes true focus lies somewhere between rage and serenity. And they have worked to find that balance we believe could help your business and up its SERP game by several notches. It’s a tricky maneuver tackled with years and decades of SEO experience.

Content Crawling Considerations

It is common in SEO to hear people talk about their website crawl budget, about how much time and how many pages Google is willing to process on your website before it moves along. SEO practitioners optimize sites so that the most important, most valuable pages are listed first in things like site maps so that Google doesn’t miss them. Google bot - Google’s crawling software - has a limited amount of attention.

This concept is one that we don’t spend enough time on outside of SEO, and yet when you think about it, it’s a type of measurement we should be looking at in other digital channels. Attention is a resource, albeit one that decays very rapidly. Given how precious and scarce and temporary it is, why don’t we measure it more?

Part of the reason is that measuring attention can be challenging for some marketers. It requires a decent amount of data, and it requires us to analyze that data to understand attention. Some channels lend themselves more easily to attention management than others; YouTube is an excellent example of a channel that makes attention measurement easy. We’re given a statistic, watch time, that clearly shows how well we’re acquiring and retaining attention.

Attention Advantage Analysis For Smart SEO Strengthening

Other channels have the necessary ingredients for making attention measurement and SEO improvements, but we have to be the ones to assemble the data. What are some examples to help with our SEO strategy?

- Twitter gives us followers, impressions, and engagements. We can measure impressions and followers for raw attention measurements along with backlinks generated from website link shares.

- Email marketing gives us recipients, opens, and clicks. We can measure opens and recipients for a raw attention measure.

- Google Analytics gives us new and returning users, both of which are independent measures of attention for different audiences.

What we look for in this data is a declining trend - a sense that we’ve worn out our welcome, that we’re no longer able to earn attention at the same rate. What happens when we’re no longer able to earn attention from our audience and the SEO benefits decline? We look to a classic Direct Marketing Framework: list, offer, creative.

First, has our audience changed significantly? Have their needs or behaviors changed? For example, when the pandemic began, no one really paid much attention to marketing. There were much more urgent things consuming attention.

Second, has our SEO offering - what we have to offer our audience, what’s for sale, what value we provide - changed substantially? Again, thinking back to the start of the pandemic, if you were a keynote speaker and on-stage appearances were the only service you had to offer, you would naturally see a decline in attention.

Third, has our creative lost its luster? Does the content itself and the way we present it no longer work with our audiences, causing a loss of attention? Anyone who’s tried to run a webinar lately knows how this feels. So many people are offering webinars, virtual events, etc. that the format is overly saturated. You may need to create fresh new content that is unique and distribute it through blogger outreach services for optimal SEO supercharging.

SEO Like A Pro

The challenge is to tackle these in the order above; most marketers do the reverse, tinkering with their creative rather than addressing much larger issues with their offering or their audience. Do them in the order above to determine just how much of your attention budget you’ve burned through for your SEO or crawl budget and why. Keep these tips in mind to SEO like a pro for your business website and continue to grow while on a frugal budget!

What Is PPC Advertising? A Complete Guide

what is ppc advertising pay per click ads guide

Would you like targeted traffic to visit your website as soon as it goes live?

Over 81% of Internet users search for a product and service. Yet many businesses struggle to gain visitors to their site.

They rely on search engines like Google to send them potential customers which takes time and hard work. So what is the fastest and most cost-effective way to drive people to your site who want to buy?

Pay Per Click Advertising

This article looks at what is PPC advertising and how it can help you. We break down the different ad platforms, pay per click advert types, and how much they cost.

You will learn how the PPC marketing bidding works and how it stacks against SEO in the long run.

So read this complete guide to PPC advertising to find out how to bring in more visitors and turn them into paying customers.

What Is PPC advertising?

Pay per click adverting provides an easy way for your customers to link to your website or app.

They appear above normal or organic search results when someone searches for a related phrase or keyword. And unlike an organic result, advertisers only pay when someone clicks on their advert.

PPC Campaigns And Keywords

When you sign-up to a PPC platform, you create a campaign.

Campaigns help you segment your ads into groups for easier management. You could have a campaign for a product range or seasonal services, for example.

Campaigns can contain multiple ads and each ad must target one or more keywords.

Keywords are the search phrases your visitors enter to find your product or service. They could be product-specific, like make and model. Or more general, like a brand.

The great news is each advert platform provides free tools to help you find the best keywords.

Google's Keyword Planner tool tells you how many people searched for your proposed keywords. It also gives suggestions, so you can target better phrases for more traffic.

Pay Per Click Advertising Platforms

There are three main PPC marketing platforms that host your ads: Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.

Google is the most-used search engine in the world, having over 90% market share. Its Google Ads advertising platform lets you place your adverts throughout its extensive network. That includes Search, Maps, Android apps, and third-party vendors.

Unsurprisingly, Google makes most of its money from advertising. But the reason is simple: it is very effective.

Google claims that for every dollar you spend on their ad network you will receive $8 in profit!

However, Google's success also means it's the most expensive platform. That is why Microsoft reduced its prices.

Microsoft Advertising offers a similar service to Google but your ads appear in Bing results. As Bing powers the likes of Yahoo!, that is quite a catchment area for a lower cost.

And don't forget about Amazon.

The retail giant is the fastest-growing ad platform for eCommerce websites. If you sell on their store then this is the place to spend your marketing budget.

Types Of PPC Ads

The main type of advert is the text ad

In Google, these appear above organic listings and look almost identical to those results. There is a small AD symbol to signify they are ads but otherwise, they don't stand out.

Display ads reflect the more traditional image or banner advertisement.

They are great if you want to promote using pictures of your products. Animated Gifs allow for multimedia too so you can grab people's attention. But they only appear on third-party sites or in Android apps.

Shopping ads provide the best of both worlds.

They appear above organic listings as an image and text. Mobile users can swipe across the screen to view more results. And they integrate with the likes of Google Shopping.

How Much Will It Cost?

PPC sounds good so far but let's talk money. How much does pay per click advertising cost?

PPC is unlike traditional online ads where you pay for the time your ad appears. Instead, you are given an estimate on the cost per click or CPC based on your chosen keywords.

Prices vary per keyword or phrase and also on the competition.

The more businesses compete for a key phrase, the higher the price. It's termed bidding and costs vary.

For example, the keyword 'business services' could set you back a whopping $58.64 per click! And if you own a casino and want to advertise on Google that word alone fetches $55.48.

That's why PPC strategies are so important when advertising online.

Pay Per Click Campaign Management

Choosing the right keywords, targeting the right traffic, and setting your daily budget need expertise. So many businesses hire campaign managers to run things for them.

You can actually save money by hiring an expert than getting it wrong by doing it yourself.

A campaign manager considers your budget and target audience then adjusts ad spend accordingly. You're able to track results through a dashboard and see the ROI on your investment.

Campaign managers also offer:

 Keyword Analysis and Research
 AdGroup builds
 Keyword Bid Adjustments
 Banner Ad Creation and Install

And a lot more to help your business succeed online.

SEO Versus PPC

Search engine optimization means ensuring Google likes your website and ranks you high on their organic results. But by using PPC, does that mean you should stop or ignore SEO?

The short answer is no!

PPC can bring targeted traffic in the short term but SEO can generate similar results over time. Some users ignore ads and go straight for the free listings. And if you are on the first page you will see a huge spike in traffic.

SEO techniques like creating high-quality content will also reap rewards outside of search.

Visitors will bookmark your pages if you provide great copy like blog articles. They will also share your site on social media. And that will generate a new stream of traffic outside the confines of Google.

Why Use Pay Per Click Ads

why use pay per click ads ppc advertising

Do you know those ads that pop up whenever you look up something on the internet? Those are pay per click ads. Sometimes they are annoying, but sometimes they are helpful. If you have a business and want to implement this marketing strategy, then the latter effect is what you want. To make sure you have your ads as useful as possible, you may need to get pay per click services to help you.

Hit Your Target Audience

Having a higher reach is an advantage in boxing, but that reach is useless if the punches do not connect. There is no doubt that traditional marketing media like billboards, newspapers, TV, and radio have great reach. Still, how many people exposed to those media care about what they are seeing? If your business is related to gardening, it does not make much sense to put up a massive billboard on a busy highway. Sure, you may get some "hits", but how many out of everyone driving by? All the while, you are paying money for that billboard.

In contrast, your pay per click ads only pop up when people use keywords that are related to your business. Thus, those who see your ads are likely to be already interested in your product or service. Plus, with pay per click ads, you only pay every time someone clicks the ads (hence the name). Not only are your punches connecting, but you also do not have to shelve out too much money to do so.

Re-Hit Your Target Audience

This advantage is like a continuation of the first one. Getting traffic to your business is good. It creates awareness and potential sales. The word "potential" is key because you can never be sure that all of those clicks will lead to sales. Of course, the best sales conversion rate is 100%, but that only happens in some magical place. In reality, the number is much lower.

For example, Google ads have an average conversion rate of less than 3.5%. Thus, you need to milk as much of those clicks as possible, and you can do this by re-hitting your target audience. A key strategy in marketing is customer loyalty. You can create loyalty if you satisfy your customers with your products or services.

If they need your products or services again, they are likely to go for you again. You can make this easier by running ads that your customers can easily find. Thus, you can get more out of that 3.5%. Plus, if the remaining 96.5% still hasn’t found what they are looking for, they can likely give in, click your ad, and see what you have to offer.

Track Your Hits

Consider boxing again. In a match, analysts keep track of punches and how many connected and missed. This PPC data allows everyone to see how effective the attacking fighter is. If people see hundreds of punches but only a handful connecting, then this data indicates that fighters should be more tactical with their punches.

You cannot get this same data if you run billboards or newspaper ads, but you can with internet ads. Companies that offer pay per click services will not only know how many clicked your ads; they can also know relevant information such as age, ethnicity, etc. These PPC data points give you an idea of what demographics you attract. From these data, you can adjust your ads to attract more of that demographic or expand to other demographics.

5 Frugal Ways to Promote a Business

frugal ways to promote a business tips company promotions

Almost 44 percent of local businesses have said they rely on social media to generate brand awareness.

That number means that social media is a great place for you to travel to promote your business. It doesn't have to be expensive, though it can be a bit time-consuming. Saving money marketing, however, is worth a little extra time.

Read on for the five best frugal ways to promote a business and create more awareness for your brand.

1. Set a Goal

Setting a goal for your brand—or just truly knowing your intent for it—helps customers recognize that you know what you are doing. You come across as stable, and they appreciate that feeling in a business they are interacting with.

Think about online ordering. People reach for Amazon or Etsy first because they know those vendors are going to do their best to provide a quality customer experience. That is why people come back.

Taking that goal and turning it into a plan that you can readily execute is the next step. Take it step-by-step so you don't get discouraged, and remember that it's OK for you to veer off course if necessary.

The next few tips can even be implemented in your step-by-step plan to create an audience you can market to.

2. Interaction

Interacting with your followers on social media builds a reputation. If you are polite and take the time to have an actual, intentional conversation with them, it gets remembered.

People enjoy intimacy on its most basic level, and creating a sense of it allows you to take their needs and meet them. Not only do they feel heard, but you are also letting them know they have been seen.

This kind of marketing gets noticed, especially if you are someone your target audience can relate to as a creator, business owner, parent, or even just person.

Taking those needs and meeting them can be seen in the products you create or the services you begin to offer. You can talk about a specific issue openly on social media to attract attention and then offer a simple way for people to reach out and speak to you.

3. Free Stickers

Vinyl decals are a great way to promote your business—especially if the stickers are free to those taking them. They're easy to put on car windows, lunch boxes, water bottles, laptops, even phone cases.

They spread the word about your business and give customers a physical memory of your brand that isn't a business card. They can also hand them out friends and family, and it's a great way to start word of mouth advertising.

4. Start a Blog or Channel

Did you know that 78.8 percent of marketers consider YouTube to be the most effective platform? Video marketing provides a decent return on investment, but here's the thing: you don't need to invest a lot of money into creating videos.

Now, if you want to hire people to make these videos for you, then that's a different story. But that iPhone camera of yours is just as good nowadays. It's more about the effort that you put into the creation of your videos.

Show people into the everyday life of your company or provide them content they can learn something from.

Starting a blog is also effective—especially if you have a niche blog. Choosing one topic to hone in is going to drive more traffic than a blog with a myriad of topics that don't seem to have a set focus.

It goes back to feeling seen. Having a niche that people understand is going to make your target audience more willing to hear what you have to say, whether they are reading it or watching it.

With your blog, pay attention to Search Engine Optimization. Your website can gain a lot of traffic with SEO and conducting keyword searches is a great place to start.

5. Create a Course

Creating a course allows you to combine everything we've covered so far, and it can be done on a budget.

Having a goal for your business from the start can help you help others. It immediately tells potential students what you're about and gives them more time to be interested in how you can help them. It helps you better know yourself and what you can offer others.

A course is easy to create because it's based on things you already know. Ditch the fancy slides and come prepared to speak to a room full of people. Grasp their attention with your knowledge and passion.

Show them what you do and have done. Don't just tell them.

If you can't find a space, hold the class or seminar virtually! There are plenty of platforms for you to work with.

This tip combines other tips because it gives you a sense of intimacy with consumers, but you can also post about it on your YouTube channel. Writing about it on your blog is a great way to provide insight into the whole thing.

There are Plenty of Other Ways to Promote a Business

While these are great ways to promote a business, they are not the only ones.

The great thing about these tips is that you can take them to build upon. Get creative with your advertising and make it your own. Combine ideas for maximum benefit, and remember to have fun with everything you create.

The goal is to draw customers, but it's also to make sure your customers enjoy your products and want to keep coming back.

How to Find a Venue for Your Professional Event

match pro venue professional event business events planning

Preparing to plan a professional event?

Whether you are putting together plans for a conference, a seminar, a trade show, an awards show, or a product launch, there a bunch of keys to ensuring that it is a total success.

You will, of course, need to choose the right time to hold the event. You will also need to make sure the right people are invited to it. But maybe above all else, you'll need to find the right pro venue to stage your event.

No matter how meticulous you are with regards to mapping out the rest of your event, it'll all be for naught if you don't track down the right venue for it. It's why you should take your time when choosing a venue and keep at it until you land on the ideal one.

Here is how to go about doing it.

Keep Location in Mind When Looking for a Pro Venue

This should almost go without saying. But you should not, under any circumstances, rent a venue for a professional event if it's situated in a place that's going to be difficult for your guests to get to.

If, for example, you're going to be hosting an event in San Francisco, look for an event space that's somewhere within the city limits. If you roam too far outside of San Francisco, you're going to find that many of your guests might skip your event since it won't be convenient for them to get there.

You want to make it as easy as possible for all your guests to make their way to your event. With that in mind, choosing a pro venue that's located in the right place is an absolute must when you're planning out your event.

Make Sure a Venue Offers More Than Enough Parking

Once people show up for your event, are they going to be able to find a place to park?

This might not be a question that you ever consider when you're planning out an event. You'll be so worried about what's inside of a venue that you won't spend a ton of time thinking about what's outside of it.

Find out how many parking spaces are going to be available to your guests on the night of your event.

The last thing you want is for people to show up at your event and leave when they realize that the parking situation is a nightmare.

Search for a Venue With Enough Space for Everyone on Your Guest List

One of the first things you should ask the owner of an event space when you're meeting with them about their venue is, "What is your capacity?" The capacity will let you know how many people you can fit into a venue at one time.

You should obviously do this for the comfort of your guests. You don't want to try cramming 400 people into a space that's only designed to hold 200 people. It'll lead to people spending the entire night bumping into one another.

It'll also go against all of the fire and safety codes that are in place and could get your event shut down if you're not careful. You want to make sure that the pro venue you pick has a capacity that sits well above the total number of names on your guest list.

See Which Services and Amenities a Venue Offers

There are some venues that will rent you an event space and leave it at that. They won't offer any extra services or amenities, which will leave you to bring in your own vendors to provide them.

But there are also venues that will extend all the services and amenities that you need for your event, either included in the cost of renting the venue or for an additional fee.

Some of the services and amenities that you'll likely need will include:

  • Catering
  • Table, chair, and linen rentals
  • Audio-visual equipment

You might also need someone to help you set up a venue for your event and clean it up once it's over. You should come to an understanding with the owner of an event space as far as which services and amenities they will provide.

Consider the Layout of a Venue When Thinking About Using It

The type of event that you're planning will dictate the type of layout that you'll need inside of a pro venue.

For instance, if you're planning an awards show, you'll need a large stage for performers and presenters. You'll also need plenty of room to put chairs for your audience. This means that a venue with a bunch of smaller rooms isn't going to work for you.

By the same token, if you're holding a seminar that's going to feature different speakers talking to different groups, you might benefit from a venue with a choppy layout. It'll give you an opportunity to send those who attend your event to different areas based on what and who they want to see.

When you walk into a venue for the first time and it's empty, you're going to need to be able to picture your event taking place in it to see if it'll work. It's why it's essential for you to spend time thinking about how you envision your event going before settling on an event space.

Ask a Venue About Their Acoustics

Is there anything worse than spending tons of time and money staging a big event only to have guests complaining about how noisy it is inside? This is something that event planners don't always take into account when planning professional events.

You should speak with an event space owner about the acoustics in their facility and push them to tell you how speakers and music will sound during your event. Poor acoustics can ruin an event and make it impossible for people to enjoy themselves.

You should be especially wary about holding an event in a big, open space like a warehouse. These types of spaces don't always have the best acoustics, and the acoustics can ruin an otherwise great event in some cases.

Check Out the Accessibility of a Venue

A lot of event planners enjoy holding events in older venues that have a ton of history jam-packed into them. These venues often entice guests and get people talking about how lovely they are.

There is one big problem with many older venues, though. They don't always offer the same kinds of accessibility that you will find in most newer venues. They sometimes haven't gone through the necessary upgrades to make them more accessible.

You want to find a venue that makes it simple for people with mobility issues to get around. A pro venue should have everything from ramps to elevators inside of it to allow for people to maneuver their way around without a problem.

Figure Out If a Venue Fits Into Your Budget

The cost to rent a pro venue is going to depend on dozens of different things. Some of the factors that will impact the price of a venue include:

  • The location of the venue
  • The size of the venue
  • The services and amenities that a venue offers
  • The history of a venue
  • The general appearance of a venue

Prior to looking around at different venues for a professional event, you should find out exactly when you want to rent a venue. This will help you avoid falling in love with a venue only to discover that it is booked on the night you need it.

You should also crunch the numbers and figure out how much you can afford to spend on a venue based on your event budget. It will allow you to steer clear of finding the perfect venue only to find out that it is out of your price range.

Cost shouldn't be the only thing on your mind when you are shopping around for venues for an event. You don't want to take the cheapest venue you can find and learn first-hand why it was so cheap in the first place.

But you should be open and honest about your event budget from the beginning with venue owners.

They might be able to find ways to work with your budget if it means renting out their venue for your event.

Book the Best Pro Venue for Your Next Professional Event

The pro venue that you choose for your next professional event could ultimately make or break it.

Choosing the wrong venue could leave people with a bad taste in their mouth once your event ends.

Try to start looking around at various venues at least six months before your event is scheduled to take place. This will give you an opportunity to check out and consider a wide range of options before narrowing your choices down.

Once you find a venue that suits your needs, put down a deposit for it and start planning out the other details of your event. Your venue will establish a strong foundation for your event and get the planning process off to a great start.

How To Set A Digital Marketing Budget

how to set a digital marketing budget frugal online advertising budgets

Marketing budgets aren't always easy to create or stick to. Advertising costs can rise and martech software rates usually only go up. Research shows that most businesses dedicate around 20-30% of their total budget towards marketing.

However, each business is different, and you may find it difficult to decide how much you need to budget. This is especially true when deciding how much you need to spend on digital marketing, as there are so many tactics to choose from in online advertising. To determine which tactic to use you first need to identify the target market zones with heat maps from your location data.

Below you will discover some suggestions that will help you create a digital marketing budget for your business. Use these tips and leading digital marketing software, and you will know how to attract customers, without depriving the other parts of your business.

Let's begin setting your digital marketing budget:

Decide What Your Goals Are

Before you can set a concrete digital marketing budget, you first need to decide what your goals are.

This is because your goals will determine the level of competition you will face. And the level of competition you face will determine how much you need to spend.

Suppose you want to acquire more customers with the help of Google AdWords

You can use the Google Keyword Planner to discover how much existing advertisers are paying to target certain keywords. You can then take these figures, and use them to estimate the amount of money you'd need to spend on your frugal online marketing campaigns.

This is just one example of how you can use the competition to determine how much you need to spend on your frugal online marketing campaigns.

You can adopt a similar approach for any digital marketing method. All you need to do is look at what the competition is spending, and you then have a rough idea of how much you need to frugally budget for digital marketing.

How Flexible Is Your Approach?

It is worth remembering that some marketing tactics will cost more than others. For instance, you'll generally find that LinkedIn Ads are more expensive than Facebook Ads.

So, if you are struggling to create an affordable marketing plan, maybe introduce some flexibility to your approach. You may really want to run PPC ads, but if you can't make the numbers work, then it's best to go for an affordable alternative option.

Now, if you are looking for affordable marketing ideas, you will have to be creative. You might need to run an influencer marketing campaign, or you may need to host some events that help generate brand awareness.

Such approaches might not provide the kind of ROI you would experience when using traditional marketing methods. But they are often a good way to help you generate your first set of customers so that you can eventually move onto more expensive methods.

Do You Know What You Are Doing With Your Digital Marketing?

If you don't know much about digital marketing, there is a good chance that you might end up wasting some of your marketing budget.

That's because you might allocate funds to a marketing method that isn't a good fit for your business. You may also ignore things like 'conversion rate optimization' thereby limiting your ability to squeeze a lot out of a small budget.

Thus, if you are a digital marketing novice, it can be a good idea to hire a digital marketing agency like Blogger Outreach Agency

In doing so, you can put experts in charge of your marketing budget. This can allow you to achieve great results, even if you don't have much to spend.

Do You Know How to Create a Digital Marketing Budget?

You should now understand how you can create a frugal digital marketing budget for your business.

Developing a marketing budget is hard, and so there is a good chance you might not get things right the first time around. If this happens, you will need to take a step back and determine what went wrong.

Luckily, frugal digital marketing can provide you with a lot of data. You can, therefore, use this data, to determine where your campaigns went wrong, and how you can change things for the better.

4 Tips On Printing Choices For Printed Marquees

tips printing choices custom printed marquees business event tents

With custom printed marquees or branded gazebos, you can be rest assured that you will be turning heads and grabbing eyeballs at all sort of events. These versatile canopies help your business stand out from the pack and also give them much needed exposure in the meantime.

And here are four pro tips to make the most out of that brand exposure:

4 Tips To Maximize Exposure

1. Light Up The Logo

Make sure that your logo is seen easily on the branded gazebo that you will be stationing on the event day. Your logo is the graphical identity of your business, and more and more people must take a look at it. To ensure that, you can get your name and logo printed in bold and preferably a large font size. However, caution must be exercised while selecting the fonts as they need to be the same as in your logo so that your marquee does not look like a counterfeit of your own business.

2. Play With Colours

One thing that you can be certain about is that every business will be on their ‘A’ game at a trade fair. To gain an edge over them, you can use bright colours to improve aesthetics and visibility of your branded gazebo. Make sure that you are certain about the colours, their shades and intensity that you want on your custom printed marquee. It is in your best interest to keep it down to 2-3 colours, or else it might look a little intimidating.

3. Cut To The Chase

Never go overboard with your branding message as it can have an antagonistic effect on your customers. On the contrary, a short, crisp and quirky message can garner quick attention and drive the masses towards your tent. The goal is to be professional yet quirky, and it can be achieved subtly with due diligence.

With that said, there are four techniques employed by professional marquee makers depending on a customer’s need, budget and other specific requirements for printing branded gazebos, they are:

4 Techniques For Customers' Customized Needs

1. Direct Printing

Direct printing or DTG ( Direct to garment) printing is when designs are emblazoned directly upon the garments employing water-based inks with the help of ink-jet printers.

The fabric or garment are heated during the pre-printing phase and then coated with the ink to facilitate better absorption of the ink.

Direct to fabric printing requires a minimalistic setup that can be sampled quickly and more cheaply than screen printing. As you can see, it is just a one-step process. Thus the turnaround time is also relatively less.

Direct to garment printing leaves very little waste since the printer directly works on the canopy fabric – therefore, less energy is consumed. So if you are looking for a value for money, pocket-friendly, quick one-off print, you should opt for direct printing.

2. Screen Printing

Screen printed marquee tents are extremely popular amongst the marquee enthusiasts as bigger areas can be printed upon at the same time, economically. This technique is used to bulk produce printed marquee walls, logos, texts, slogans, and graphic artworks.

It involves designing screens for every colour from the artwork, a single screen can be used for printing repeatedly. Thus it is used for producing printed marquee tents in bulk.

Marquee screen printing ensures superior quality of finishing because the ink lies within the fabric layer and thus easily visible on darker fabrics as well.

Screen printed marquees have quite a thick print (up to 20 microns) ensuring a rich finish. This technique can be employed to print on canvasses as large as 3x4 meters at one go. Not only canvasses but anything like plastic, metal, acrylic, and wood that can fit the printers can be embossed upon by screen printing.

Marquee screen printing is beneficial in the long run owing to their good light resilience. Greater ink thickness and composition ensure that the print can withstand greater stress without compromising on print quality.

3. Sublimation Printing

Sublimation is a chemical process where solid changes into a gas without passing through the liquid stage and that is exactly how ink is embossed upon the fabric using this technique.

Since there is no liquid involved, there is no need to dry off the print.

Sublimation printer first imprints a mirror image of the content or design that is to be printed and then it is transferred upon a fabric. Both, the paper and fabric undergo a heat press which sublimates the solid print into a gaseous state that permeates the pores of the fabric that open due to heat. The fabric is then cooled for the pores to close so that the ink can be a solid once again. This when the fabric and ink become one.

Dye sublimation produces a continuous print tone. This projects brighter and smoother colours on the fabric of your printed canopy, which is far better than what an ink-jet printer can manage.

Also since the dye is deeply embedded in the fabrics of the printed marquee, the designs or artwork embossed remain permanent. This ensures that your branded gazebo can withstand the toughest of times and weathers.

Sublimation printing can be employed to print a variety of designs, artworks, colours, shades etc. that other forms of printing do not allow.

4. UV Printing

UV printing is a photochemical process that uses ultraviolet light to digitally print logos, graphics, artwork, and content over almost any surface which can fit in the printer.

UV printers use mercury, quartz, or LED lights for curing instead of heat. High-intensity UV lights distribute the special ink evenly on the printing medium.

UV printing can be done on 3-D objects, curved surfaces etc. Once the printing is over with, the surface or medium do not require the application of any protective film or coating, making them readily available for finishing.

This is the flagship of the printing industry and produces the most premium prints that money can buy. The UV prints are smear-resistant and can last up to 3-5 years outdoors and almost 10 years indoors. These prints are eco-friendly and can be completed in real quick time.

Conclusion

Conduct thorough research before you opt to buy a printed canopy regarding the technology, instrument and rates per square foot charged by your supplier. Direct Mail Ad Ideas For Bootstrapped Realtors

creative direct mail ideas bootstrapped realtors mailer advertising

Real estate is big business no matter what the housing and property market are doing or if there is a recession impacting finances worldwide. There are still more than 87,000 real estate firms in the United States alone. This means every real estate agent or Realtor has tons of competition when it comes to attracting home buying and home selling clients.

The more competition you have, the more creative you need to get with your real estate marketing ideas and ad campaigns.

While digital marketing is important, it is expensive and getting more expensive in a lot of areas for Realtors. Direct mail marketing is a cheap and fun alternative that helps you reach new realty clients without going over budget. Snail mail actually stands out these days against the endless white noise of online marketing, spam emails, and PPC ads. You just need to make your campaign stand out as a real estate agent or Realtor.

Here are a few creative direct mail ideas to help you make the most of your Realtor advertising campaigns.

Invite Locals To Events At Your Office

Boring advertisements that showcase your real estate agent services aren’t always effective. People tend to receive these Realtor postcards or flyer pieces in the mail and toss them without so much as a second glance.

Instead of creating boring flyers, turn your next direct mail advertising campaign into an invitation.

Host a meet and greet at your office. Invite people in your target area to get to know you and give them a reason to come to your office.

This could be free food, a house concert with a local musician, or an informative presentation designed to help prospective homebuyers overcome the challenges they face.

You can even partner with other businesses in the area to put together a bigger event that will help each of you increase your network and build new realty client relationships.

Send Holiday Cards To Previous Clients

Staying in touch with your previous clients is a wonderful way to earn referrals and recommendations. However, if you are like most real estate agents, reaching out without a reason can feel a bit awkward. Worse, it can leave your previous clients feeling confused.

Save yourself the stress (and potential embarrassment) by sending them a branded holiday card as part of your direct mail marketing strategy. Keep things simple and lighthearted, but make sure your logo and contact info is clear on your design.

You never know when they will learn that a friend or coworker is ready to look for a house. Your clients can use that holiday card much like a business card to pass your information to people who need it.

Include A Branded Gift

Whenever you send out direct mail marketing materials, you need to make sure your brand is easy to identify. The last thing you want people to do is glance at your mailer, shrug, and toss it away.

Try to include a branded gift with everything you send out. This doesn’t have to be anything big. A magnet, pen, keychain, or letter opener is all you need to include. That way, they will still have something to remember your information by even if they throw out the mailer it came with.

No matter what you choose, make sure the mailer design has easy-to-read contact information and shows your logo clearly. This will help them keep your name in mind anytime someone mentions looking for a real estate agent.

Try These Creative Direct Mail Ideas For Yourself

Getting your information in front of your target market can be difficult when you are working with a limited budget. Try these creative direct mail ideas and save money without sacrificing the reach of your campaign. Do what your competitors aren't doing and go against the grain with your advertisements.

Just remember to keep your contact information easy-to-read on every direct mailer marketing item you send out for commercial real estate or residential properties.
